CPP stands for Cast Polypropylene and is produced by a cast extrusion process where polypropylene resins are melted and then stretched in both the machine and transverse directions. This biaxial orientation imparts specific characteristics to the film, making it suitable for various applications. Our CPP films are known for their clarity, sealability, heat resistance, and flexibility, making them widely used in packaging, labelling, and lamination in industries such as food, textiles, and pharmaceuticals.
Our White CPP films are opaque and produced through a casting process, offer a solid and non-transparent appearance. White CPP films are commonly used in packaging applications where an opaque or white background is desired for printed labels and graphics or where light blocking is necessary. White CPP films find applications in various industries, such as food packaging, labelling, and other uses where a non-transparent white film is preferred.
Metallized CPP films are films with a thin layer of metal, typically aluminium, deposited on the surface. This process enhances barrier properties against moisture and gases and provides a glossy appearance. Widely used in flexible packaging, these films offer a combination of flexibility, heat-sealing capability, and improved performance, making them suitable for snacks, confectionery, and other products where barrier and aesthetic features are crucial.
Our CPP Films (Cast Polypropylene Films) offer excellent heat seal strength, good thermal stability, good puncture resistance, good clarity and fair barrier properties. The film type also has good yield economics owing to its low density. Some of the typical application areas for the film includes hot filling and retort applications, high speed application on FFS machines and bakery products.
